my car is missing whatever hardware that is necessary to attach the end of the front bumper to the bottom of the quarter panel. is this hardware only obtainable from the dealer or am i going to be able to fabricate something from autozone or local parts store? id really not have to wait 2 weeks for some parts to come from god knows where.

thanx guys

theres no bracket on the bumper whatsoever. can anyone give me some ideas of what i can fab up from the hardware store? if i went with the bolts and washer combos should the bolt go down from the quarter panel or up from the bumper? and what can i do to keep the bolt and nut to keep it from coming loose
?

This is my 99 GST. On top of the stock quarter panel lip there are welded on nuts these bolts go into. I suggest SS as regular bolts rust in place (and I had to torch and drill them out).

ok, do you know what thread those bolts are ? and sorry for the stupid question but did you put them in like in the picture first or did u put the bumper in place then screw them in. did u have to get under the car to gain access to those bolts? or is there a way to do it through the wheel wells?

Metric thread 1.0 (6x20x1.0 = metric size 6 bolt x 20mm long x 1.0 threads/mm).
Bumper in place, then screw them in.
Remove fender liner front section (unbolt and bend out of way), crawl under and reach up under wheel well.
