ok after finding out the tranny on my galant vr4 was blown i picked up a new tranny and tcase ....i got it for $300 then as i was cleaning it i found out it was swichable from awd to fwd:hellyeah::hellyeah:but the only problem is that the t case that came with the tranny is not switchable ..i want to know is there any way to modifiy the usdm tcase to make it switchable????or do i have to get a jdm tcase ?????

and what are the down falls of having the jdm tranny/tcase .....are they weaker????

The 1G AWD and the switchable AWD have the same diff, same tcase ratio and rear diff ratio. If you do not have a switchable tcase you can still switch the trans for a 50/50 split at the track. I have the switchable trans and tcase but I run a stock tcase and switch it to the 50/50.
