jdm oil housing

hy there my engine has a jdm oil pressure housing

this is a 6 bolt engine from a jdm vr-4

its very similar to the 90 oil housing

the only problem i have i dont know were to install the oil pressure swich for the stock gauge

any solutions for this problem

That depends. If your housing is like the one shown in my pictures and has a hole there, sure. If it is like the one shown in post #3, then not necessarily.

You can always use the port #1 if you don't plan on using the dummy light switch; in the end, it's all up to you.

I do not understand what you're asking about the ratchets. Please clarify.

That depends. If your housing is like the one shown in my pictures and has a hole there, sure. If it is like the one shown in post #3, then not necessarily.

You can always use the port #1 if you don't plan on using the dummy light switch; in the end, it's all up to you.

the housing is almost identical

how to you open up that port if i whant to use the oil pressure gauge
the dummy light i have it in the original place it works good

If the housing has a port at the location I indicated in red that is plugged, you'll likely need some sort of heat and an Allen socket tool to break it open. The sensor would screw right in.

If it doesn't:

• Find a 3/8" BSPT to 1/8" BSPT reducer for port #2 in the linked thread and run it there
• Find a 1/8" BSPT tee/dual fitting that you can run both sensors from port #1
• You can drill and tap the housing at the location marked in blue below for a 1/8" BSPT thread
