Hello all, long time lurker here.
I've searched a lot of forums for the answer and have tried everything I've read.
Nothing so far has worked and was wondering if someone could help.
I have a 99 eclipse gst with a black box ecu.
It has a remanned jasper engine in it.
I don't have a cas on the left side of my VC.
I bought ecmlink v3 off millerimportparts and tried hooking it up.
It's a 95 EPROM ecu socketed and all.
When I hooked it up, I tried to start the car and it turned over then starter kinda froze.
Tried again with same result.
After that I tried checking the non95/96 cas still no start, I then swapped the plug wires as stated on swapplugwires [ECMTuning - wiki] and still nothing.
I read something somewhere about fuel injector wires needing swapped?
Anyways if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it!

Forgot to mention, I swapped back to the old ecu and put plug wires back in order and it fired right up.
 
If the old ecu works and the car starts I would suspect your 95ecu.
Looks like you tried the swapping of the plugs.
Maybe open up that 95ecu inspect it and post some close up pictures so we can see if it looks like it's in good order.
 
Swapping injector wires is the same thing as swapping plug wires. Don't worry about it if your CAS is behind the intake cam gear.

Did you get a brand new version of link or is it a used version? If from Miller, it might be used and still have settings from the old owner. I suggest you hook up a laptop to it, load the program, and check what settings are in it. If you don't know what to look for, grab a log and post it up. Just turn the key to ON (don't start), connect cable to car and laptop, fire up link, and click Start log.

I'm guessing there's a tune for bigger injectors which could explain it not running?

Hit the calculate button and type in 450cc and youll get 0, Base fuel pressure at 42.6 use the correction for global as 0 and leave deadtime at 0.The timing sliders and fuel adjustments sliders set them back down to leveled at zero as well for now. Hit "save all to ecu" A log would help better if you can upload.
