C-dub Racing Grudge Car

I figured I would share this with the DSM community since I plan to RWD the car this winter. The car has been around for several years mainly as a street / grudge raced car and as it comes close to the end of the racing season I have been running a few local True Street 10.5 events. These are a few time slips from eliminations at last weekends race.

2.0L steel rods, 8.5 pistons
HKS 272's
PTE 67
NX direct port
first version JMF Intake manifold
IPT Trans, with Bradco converter
2700 W/driver

I've been waiting for some stats on white gold! Nice to see you have had some unofficial records there! That 60' is just insane! Thanks for sharing this information. This car and your brothers red rocket is what made me swap my car to auto and I don't think I will ever look back to a 5-speed!

Most impressive part of this to me is the smallish PTE67 compared to the 74mm+ turbos that most of the other "fast" auto cars run.

Get a 420a car and then turn it into RWD. You are gonna hack/chop the car anyways and the end result will be all the same. You are gonna have custom live rear axle set up back there regardless of what drive train/body you choose (FWD or AWD).

Plus blown motor 420a car are so cheap and readily available you could end up keeping your beautiful, rear, clean, and awesome 1g awd auto car

I know 1g's comes with 4g37 and 4g63's, 1.8 and non turbo 2.0s.

Seriously tho, if you are gonna hack a car up why not go with non turbo fwd bodies? Its gonna require a custom fabrications on either ends.

You have a point Jesse, my problem is I have been trained not to lean on the car on the launch from breaking so much drivetrain, now that I have the drivetrain to hold the power I still am reluctant to hit it hard, I guess I should get over it and just see what happens. I just want to say that you guys have your shit together thats for sure keep up the good work sir.

Bad ass car! question, that car is not sporting a cage right? im trying to get an idea how its 2600 and under lbs. i have many ideas and things that i have done but im still missing 100ish lbs some were .

Thanks for the comments, to answer some questions yes the car has and 8.50 cert cage in it, and I took my stock appearing turbo 2G to the shootout this year is why it wasn't there. I am running another 10.5 race this weekend hopefully I can net a faster 60’, I would like to see it go in the 1.1X range.

Man you guys really have those cars dialed the FVCK IN and obviously you can drive the hell out of them. I always wondered what the white car ran since the times were blurred out in the vids. Bad ass machine you have right there.
