need to see if you guys can give me a basic setting on my afc with the mods i have. please no preaching about tuning without a logger. i know its bad but im just asking for a basic setting until i can get my laptop with a standalone. im pretty close to having the money for it and dont want to spend that money on a logger right now. im running 20psi with a evo 16g wtih 650s and in 2nd 3rd and 4th at wot and 20 psi it kinda backfires a little which tells me that its running rich right? my air/fuel gauge is all the way green even though it is a cheap narrow band , wideband is coming soon too.all im asking is for you guys with 16g with 650 or 660 or something similar let know what your settings are so i can have a baseline to go by. thanx for you time

You are correct - tuning without a logger is bad. Your 650's have a baseline correction of -31%. It's best to err on the rich side so start with -25%. Also, you're running 20 psi which is getting to the upper end of tuning for your turbo - lower the boost until you get a way to monitor your engine. You are also correct about your air/fuel gauge - it really tells you nothing useful for tuning. I don't see an AFPR listed for your 255 lph pump - in the absence of that, it'll be near impossible to set your fuel trims because you'll be overrunning your stock FPR. At WOT this may not be much of an issue, but without an AFPR you have no way to insure your fuel is rising at a correct 1:1 rate. Tell Santa you need that AFPR for X-mas. :p

Your issues at WOT could be due to any number of things. While you're saving up for your laptop do a boost leak test if you haven't done 1 recently. If you are in fact rich at WOT it's most likely due to a boost leak, assuming your SAFC wasn't set at 0 for those 650's.

So, in a nutshell, if you want to run what you have right now do it conservatively until you get the rest of the supporting mods you need. ;)

thanx for the info.i will turn the boost down to 15-16 psi and change my settings to -25%. when you say that you mean all the way across right? lo and high end? im sure im overrunning my stock fpr. i thought if i was running rich i would just turn up the boost and not neccessarily solve my rich problem but bring it down to a managable base tune until i get my laptop. i havent done a boost leak test nor do i know how. dont laugh. let you know how it turns out.
