Back to a DSM after 10+ years.

It's been more than 10 years since I owned and lightly modified a 92' Laser AWD turbo 5-spd. In 2001, life got in the way of my car tuning, I wanted something newer with less miles, so I traded my Laser in on an 01' Tiburon with 6,000 miles on it. Ugh, what a mistake that was! Last fall I picked up another 92' Laser, same car, execpt in red. It didn't run, and needs some work after being stored inside for more than 5 years. It's in excellent condition for a 20 year old car. A great starting point for my tuner sports car. I have it running, and am in the process of putting all new brakes on it. My goal for this summer is to get it maintained, and safely on the road. If all goes well, I'm hoping to mod it next summer with a goal of +500WHP. This is not, and will never be my daily driver.

500 HP smooth idle daily driver is not even hard .

It has passed Air Certification (includes drive test ) twice going for three.
Three years sounding like stock finally has got to me as I am upgrading.
If you like I can send you video....of it running , dead smooth idle...as quiet as stock (electronic muffler). Just plain boring until you unleash the power.

Hey Gixxer6, I'm in the same boat. I never sold my car though. It's been sitting in the driveway for the last seven years. I put a new motor in it, tons of mods and parked it. It's back on the road now and I'm trying to tighten everything back up. Did a great 3rd gear pull on Sunday but the next try sprung a boost leak. Now i'm building a boost leak tester. Effing DSMs!
