Taking the dive, 95 GSX

Just joined, first post, how's everyone doing? So currently I own 3G GT with 176k miles, 5 speed. I've taken a lot of pride in the things I've done to this car and maintained everything nicely. I'm soooo sick of how heavy it is and bland, and heavy. And heavy.

So I started looking around everywhere i can and have happened across a 95 GSX. Looks riced out, which worries me. The car reportedly has 150xxx miles. I'm going to check it out tomorrow and can't wait. I've always wanted a 2G.

For now thats all i got. Just sayin whats up to all.

Welcome, and good luck, hopefully it's in good enough condition and the price is right for you. A lot of ricey things done to cars can be taken off, the main thing is the condition of the mechanics (engiine, trans, clutch, diff. etc) and how it was maintained. Post up some pics when you get a chance (If you get it), and again, welcom aboard!

Is your 3000GT a turbo awd? If so your lucky, if its a NA fwd then I'm sorry for you . VR4 is the sweet ticket man, a lot of members on here love the turbo 3000GT. The non turbo don't get any love tho. Every one seems to hate that car

No, you're completely correct =P- But I've managed to make mine look less priss and more beast. Removed the spoiler, two toned. Enkie 18's, dark tink job, smoked blinkers and turn signals, plus headlights.

Will still never compare to a 2nd Gen IMO

Well... the VIN came back as an RS... owner sent me more pics, it's BEYOND riced out. I'm going to slowly walk away from this deal backwards.

Everything happens for a reason though, so time to continue my search =(

EDIT: How did you confuse a GSX with a RS? Or he could be using the rs vin for his stolen gsx

Well I didn't get it confused, I requested the VIN and after a check it came back as an RS, they initially told me it was gsx... plus they sent me more pics and yeah... riced out more than my fav chinese restaurant around the corner.

So anyway, the search continues.

I'm a little confused on how a GS gets even remotely confused with a GSX.

Looks like a good thing you walked away. By the time you made it back stock you would have spent enough to buy a fully functional actual GSX or TSi.

Wow....I have never wanted to see a car destroyed more than that thing. OP, take a gander at the 2Gs for sale on the board. You wont see shit like that being sold here.

If I'm not mistaken the 2g GSX is equally as heavy as a 3rd gen right around 3200lbs. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
