first id like to say hey to all my fellow dsm'ers! about a year ago i traded my honda civic for a 97 eclipse N/T, i think i got the better deal out of the trade even though its N/T haha. however not to long ago the valve seals went out, ok no problem, got it fixed and a few months later (lots of down time working on it long story) i have it back and running, now heres my problem....its acting like the vavle seals are out again i.e. when i drive for longer then 15mins at a time, it starts to stutter from a stop and smoke until i get 3rd or 4th gear.....last time it did this is smoked black, burning oil. now its doing it again but milky blue smoke is coming out....i personally think it jumped time (again long story) but i have no clue...and i dont want to rip the engine apart blind folded....any help for a newbie?

Doubtful that it's the seals. If your car smokes a little on start up but then stops, that's usually valve seals. Sounds like you may have an issue with the piston rings. Start with a compression check on a cold engine, then start a thread and report your findings to one of the tech sections so we can help you more.
