Hey guys I'm new to the forum. The names Jason, about 2 years ago I bought a 91 eagle talon awd for my girl as an xmas present. I bought it for 1000 from a buddy that didn't want it anymore due to personal reasons. it was clean and ran fairly well. About 3 months into owning it the time belt/tensioner took a shit on her she went out one morning to start the car and upon start up it bent all the valves in the head. So the car sat for about 6-8 months because we didn't have the money to fix it. When tax time came around I took it to a local shop that I trust and had the whole motor rebuilt. Here are some pics of the ride and some of the stuff done to it
Only problem the car had was on oil leak:
Then after a few months car broke on start up, the timing belt skipped some teeth and bent all valves.....so the car sat.
Then off for a rebuild
Just recently replaced the front axels which was surprisingly easy. So far with I have invested 4500 in the car this includes the price of the car. Oh I for got to mention the car is auto since it was for my girl I figured the auto trans would be fine and besides she doesn't like to drive 5 speeds
well there it is in all it's glory
if you have anyquestions feel free to ask. thanks
