i just bought my first dsm last week. it was a mint, 1 owner 95 gst 5 speed. white with grey interior and fully loaded. car came into the shop on a rollback with a no start condition. owner stated that it had not run since march of 2006. in january 2006 our shop had installed new a/c compressor, belts, hoses, timing belt, waterpump, turbo, plugs and wires. car had 116,000 miles on it. before the towtruck driver had unloaded the car i told the owner i would give him a 1000 for the car. he said let me go home and get the title and the new battery i bought for it. an hour later i had the title and a new battery. we pushed the car into the shop and i put the battery in it. i turn the crank to make sure it wasn't locked up, it spun good. got in the car, pressed the clutch, turned the key and all i got was a starter relay click. well i looked under the dash at the clutch pedel safety switch and found the little plastic plug that goes on the cluth that in turn engauges the safety switch had broke. called the dealer and got one for $2 and installed it. tried to start it again and what do you know it fired right up, bad gas and all. so for $1002 i got a mint dsm. car runs great and is in like new shape, by the way the old owner was 71 years old!:thumb: i have just installed complete 3'' exhaust and k&n intake. car sounds sweet and pullos much harder now. just thought i would share my awsome deal on my car.

Welcome to the site, it does sound like you got a really good deal! It is always good for the people who know some about cars. Usually we can get really good deals on cars that most people just want to get rid off. Got any pictures you could throw up of the car?
