i came across this forum, and figured i have a rare DSM tuner so i figured id make an account. i have a 1991 dodge spirit r/t (1 of 744). stock is a 230hp/217 ft lb torque. it comes stock with a lotus t3 16v aluminum head mated to a chrysler 2.2l block. stock is a getrag a568 5speed trans (no automatics offered in the R/T.

if you guys are interested in this car, google it or w/e LOL... i could go on and on about this and what not. not may people ever heard of the R/T model of the spirit and know nothing of the engine or trans.

my car is fully modified (400-550whp depending on boost level), and will actually be finished this weekend. i have about $9000 invested into the build since this last may.

if u guys want some pics, lmk and ill post them. i got a load of pics. also, lmk how many pics i can put up in a single post because most sites only allow 3, i hope its unlimited here.

thanx for your input in advaance :thumb:

I say put up some pics. Those motors are very nice if taken care of. Ive heard that timing belts are hard to keep on them because of the very stiff valve springs. Nice car either way.

Sounds like a nice car, but try the turbo dodge forums.

ive been a member of them for a while. i made an account here buti wanted to meet a new group of people and help out where i can :D

heres a couple pics for your enjoyment

Man I am real jealous of that cylinder head! That alone is rare. Im a 2.2, 2.5 fan tried and true. When Im not doing something for my talon, Im usually busting knuckles on my 87 Charger.

Your car makes me miss my 93 Duster. Keep it looking great.:thumb:

yeah mine was #13 off the assembly line, so its super rare LOL

yeah its running great evidentally because i just got off the phone with my dyno guy, who lives 4 hours from me and thats where my car is at, he said that callin my car fast would be an understatement LOL. he test drove it at 35psi and smoked the tires at 65mph LOL. now im jealous because ive been building the car since may and he gets to drive it and not me

well, at 4pm on sunday afternoon central time, he said to be at his place to pick the car up. he has to do some fine tuning and figure out why the new 02 sensor is sending a bad signal to the computer.. other then that, everything is perfect.

cant wait till he tells me some numbers off the dyno :D

he told me an estimate, but im keeping that to myself LOL.

MY ENGINE AND TURBO IS STOCK!! REMEMBER THAT!!! MY CAR IS SLOW SO DONT ASK!!!! LOL ROFL SERIOUSLY! ITS A DODGE SPIRIT! HOW FAST CAN IT BE?!?!?!

got fmic in yesterday
