Raleigh,
North Carolina
Well actually tighten it up, yea it has some loose bolts and other stuff. I just bought it and seems like this website is going to be very useful, i like the support yall guys have.
My name is Irving, I grew up here in Raleigh and recently the SC area, just got back though(well it's going to be year since). I guess i could i'm passionate about cars, imports, domestic muscle, trucks, low riders, almost anything with an engine, axles, and wheels. I been at it with cars since my early teens, took high school tech classes about cars, worked as a street mechanic(life is hard with out a lift and air tools)...I've been driving GM SUVs for the past 5 years, and decided to buy a cheap import to save on gas, and also taking the opportunity to learn new stuff(SUVs are kinda limited when it comes to tuning)....
So i didn't really care what import, I like them all, but i put a $1000 limit....So this malnourished blue 1995 Eclipse RS(?) came along for $500. 145k miles, 420a, 5spd, and what it seems like some minor work under the hood and a bit major on top of that hood and the rest of the exterior....I'm really hopeful to see what i could do with this car and learn from it...

1995
It has a partially torn off "RS" sticker or emblem marking on the back...The hatch has holes in the middle, like that spoiler ain't it's original, I've seen the smaller ones, that's what it probably had, now it gets wet inside back there...oh and no P-side door handle(sorry ladies), large dents, and faded paint from heat, but good though
420a, I replaced the coolant/supposedly-radiator cap, hose was flattening in, i think it had air inside or some'n but it fixed it...later I replaced E-manifold, -to-downpipe gaskets, and tore the heatshield out, that fixed the noise, and PCV...Now it's cleaning-up time...
145k, speedometer not functioning, and "check engine"...I might post up the little light flashing mores-code thing on a video, but i think it was 12 and 55, something with the air intake system, gotta clean it i guess....but i'm getting alot of info on here to solving this car's problems, thanks yall...
I also signed up on DSMTalk, and CarolinaDSM, so be looking out...
...and once again, thanks, i'm hoping to stay very active on here and on this project/daily-driver car, I'll support back as much as i can also, you know...
