hello, i just joined this forum a while ago and i haven't introduced myself yet.
my name is Thong Khang. pronounced Tong. (the H is silent)
I am 15 years old and my ethnicity is hmong.
recently got a 99 GSX. when i got the car it had the following mods done to it:
Injen intake
Greddy SMIC Hard Pipes
Greddy Turbo Timer
Greddy Type-S BOV
Rear Magnaflow Exhaust
Stock shocks on no name Coilovers.
Enkei racing rims. don't know the name.
Front Lip. i believe its the backyard special
interior was crap and missing door panels trunk pieces etc.
power seat wasn't working power windows wasn't working and signals weren't working either fixed all of the above. got door panels (black) doesn't match my tan interior but for now its black. i couldnt figure out why the things wasn't working so i wired them using a different power source. the signals was just the stalk switch.
as of right now the car is all pretty much stock with the exception of the exhaust intake and springs. took the mods off due to CA smog.
greddy type-S bov sold.
top hat was striped and planing on to get the new NGR type-s BOV from NGR Performance.
im going to get new shocks and springs.
coilovers on stock shocks are way too much of a rough ride for me.
im going to get the springs with shocks combo off ebay
KYB shocks with vogtland springs for about 380 shipped.
