New to the forum with my first DSM

Hey I just joined this forum. This guy on automotiveforums.com referred me here, so I figured it must be legit. Anyways, my name's Eric and I'm 17. Just picked up my first DSM 3 days ago, a 98 Mitsu Eclipse RS. I know it's nothin special at the moment, especially since it's completely stock. My mom won't let me do anything to it until I've paid off the loan she gave me (~$2,000). I was in a bind cause my previous and first car (99 Pontiac Sunfire GT) developed a valve knock somehow and now it barely runs. If anybody wants it as a project car make me an offer! But I've already got my shopping list pretty much filled out for this baby, so tell me what you think! The stuff that's in italics I haven't decided between, maybe you could give me some advice, which you would prefer and why? Thanks!

thanks! your gst looks pretty good in that dark green. but i would prefer black. i've always loved black with red accents (decals, stripes, etc.) for some reason. but yours looks good! really shiny too!

thats an expensive shopping list man for all that stuff and the prices your could find a nice gst or gsx but hopefully it all works out for you welcome to the fun and sometimes headaches of owning a dsm!

I'm also looking for a VeilSide window sticker to put on my rear window, but I haven't found any that I like except for the one on VeilSide.com and I can't figure out how to order it. And I'm also looking for a hood with a scoop built in, preferably functional, but I haven't looked much for those yet so I will be adding that to the list when I find what I want. And I haven't found a front bumper that I like enough to put on the list, so as it sits now the front bumper will be stock but hopefully I find something.

And I forgot to put my lowering springs on the parts list, so I'm planning on getting Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs (Part #6035.140) that drop the front 1.5" and the rear 1.3" and a Holley fuel pump that can handle 800 hp at 48 psi

Thanks for the welcome. But no, I don't think I want to sell them. I like it the way it looks and I'm still considering getting the fog lights. If I knew I wasn't going to get them then I probably would though. Sorry
