Hey guys. I am Tanro. I recently acquired a 91 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. It has a 6 Bolt 4g63 swap from a 89 Galant VR-4. The engine has been bored .20 over and I believe it has stroker kit on it. It also has an upgraded turbo (16b) I think. I also recall my buddy saying he had the crank turned and the head ported and polished, upgraded the exhuast to a 3" turbo back system. It also has a set of 17" Enkei wheels with Michelin Raptor tires.

Thats about all I know about the car other than the fact that it most likely has a Blown Rear Diff.

It started out not engaging the rear wheels until over speeds of 30 MPH. Then for some strange reason it wouldn't go forward only in reverse. Now it basically wont move unless it feels like it. So I am thinking it needs to have the differentials replace and possibly transmission work.

I am trying to get a full list of the work my buddy did to it before he shredded the diff/s.

Anyways My background has mostly been in Saturn S-Series cars and Older RWD Celicas. Also worked on a couple of RX-7s in my time as well.

Welcome tarno. Bummer about your diff. Put a four bolt rear in it when you replace it they hold up better. If you trans is bad thats a bummer as well i was just in that boat. You might be able to get away with only changine the rear. Also check the play in the drive shaft and U joints while you are under there. Motor sounds juicy and a 16g will do you just fine even if its stroked. A big16g with supporting mods can flow 350+ hp with a 2.0. The extra space will make it spool a little faster. But yeah you can go way bigger if you have the supporting mods. I love my big 16 @ 18 psi it provides everything I need and then some and I have had much much more. They spool fast for the air you get out back compared to other turbos of a similar size. I had basically a holeset hz on my stroker and The only thing I could count on was not getting boost for a while ROFL. BUT it was realllllly sick when it did finally decide to spool. Personally I think you will like what the 16g has to offer you.
