I'm new to dsms but not to working on cars. I figured go big or go home so i found a 95 gsx that needed some work. so far I have replaced the water pump, timing belt and all the timing components, new spark plugs, new 16g turbo, some ic piping, cop plate, fp exhaust manifold, and have a 3" exhaust i have to install. When I first got it i found the guy who had it before me did one hell of a hack job on the ecu after a 6 bolt swap and didnt solder anything. I ripped out the 20 some odd blue splice connectors under the dash and checked all the wiring and fixed the wires spliced in for the turbo timer and the injector wires that were swapped. I got most of the big problems out of the way and went to fire it up yesterday and started up fine, no back fire, no sputtering, ran like a champ for a whole 6 minutes then just shut off. I havent checked compression, spark, or fuel yet because of work and school but i need to get this car back on the road. Is there anyone willing to come out this weekend to help me. I'm not too big on funds right now because most of my money went to the car. I can pay a lil bit or i can pay you in bbq and beer. I'm at stand still and will be checking everything again this weekend. Just looking for someone who has done dsms before and knows what to look for.

You might have already done it but I didn't see in the post. Check for spark and fuel that way you have a starting point. does it start back up after letting it sit for a day or extended amount of time. If no spark I would do the electrical tests of the ignition coil and the CAS and like 90% sure it does have one so check the power ransistor as well. lots of no start threads on here research is your friend. Also check out Va DSM Forum local site they might be able to help too.
