Have any of you built your "real" dsm in the game? When you match up the HP and other attributes to your real car's general specs, what do you make of the outcome? Impossibly good? Embarrassingly bad?

I cannot answer this question because my real dsm is not in this game (no 1gs). However my maxed out talon (s968 rated) will beat most U999 cars on the road courses so I would say that the DSMs are impossibly good. But then again I also have an AWD integra in the game that handles better my talon but without the top end.

I have a fully built 98 tsi awd just like my car in real life and it's fun to drive, handles pretty good and has good top end. I love that they have the 95 gsx with the grey bottom in the game.

My favorite car in the game so far is the top secret rb2x powered mk4 supra. I am working on unlocking the carbon fiber trb (tsukuba record breaker) hks evo.

I hear you. If you downgrade your S to an equivalent build of your 1G, I wonder how you'd respond to the thread.

My best car so far is an F355 with a "chick" somebody else painted onto the hood..
I have some driving to do.

I built a GST in GT4 like mine, minus the drop top. I don't even own a DSM in this game yet. I can't decide between the TSi or the 95 GSX. My favorite car was my U999 700hp S4, but then last night I built my RB26/AWD S15. It's not fair. At <400 hp it destroys more powerful and more expensive cars.

I remade the Fast and Furious Eclipse (make fun of me all you want LOL). Id show you guys but I dont know how look at the photos on forza's site. I showed my bro after I finished remaking it and he didnt believe me when I said that I made it and that it wasnt a car already in the game. Its pretty close too....still gotta work on a few more details. Took about 45 minutes. Fun to drive. The kids online are like "WHOA ITS SPILNER!"

*EDIT* Here are some pics I just took with my camera LOL. Tell me what you think...

ILLiCLIPSE, I really don't like that car, but you did a really good job on that! Looks spot on.

ILLiCliPSE: you didn't fully remake it ,because it wouldn't have been a gsx. it was an RS. ROFL

but it looks pretty much just like it.

Maybe we should write the people so that in forza 3 they can actually make a 1g. I wish the game had more tunability in the engine performance area... aka boost control, stutter box's for the ecu, etc... all that jazz would be nice.

It shouldn't be much for them to release a 1G for forza. We would be happy with just a 1G skin on the 2G attributes. They should put it out in an update.

It's too bad the upgrades don't seem to perform relative to the other upgrades- for instance an exhaust upgrade makes a bigger difference when attached to a modded vs. stock engine- but here it's just a flat +HP...

Are you sure about this? I could have sworn it was relative..of course maybe I was thinking about engine swaps.

I think that it varies based upon the initial car (or is it the base engine?) because I've seen different values come up for different vehicles. Where I'm really going with this is that the game doesn't seem to require you to match your fuel, intake/exhaust, and intercooling to your turbos. The intercooling seems to be especially underrated, you can jump from stock to monster turbo and leave the old IC on with no pain to the system.
