Alright all, I have all but 4 mission races left. The Nurbirgring (the last one), the one with the Nissan prototype car, the Honda one at suzuka and the Skyline GTR draft battle. I'm not worried the first three, its the draft battle that pisses me off. I've done it about 15 times and can't get any closer than 2seconds on the lead car.
I've run out by myself staying at the bottom of the track, I'm still able to maintain 163mph but i have no straightaway top end and the other skylines can't catch me. I've tried pushing the lead pack car all the way around for 3 laps, that got me with it 2seconds. i also pushed him around until the last turn where I slingshot by him, but was unable to get any closer to the lead car. Anyone have any suggestions?

It's caused me to break many things, I don;t know what to tell you. What I've been doing it draft the 2nd place Skyline until you get to 178 or so, pass him, let him draft you, let him pass you and keep it up. I think that has gotten me to 1.8 seconds.

Im not exactly sure how I beat that Skyline mission, but it did invole drafting off one of the Skylines in the pack, then letting him draft off me, etc, but if you draft too much off one of them, youll be too far in front of them so they wont be able to draft off you anymore. If you keep this up, you should pass him halfway through the final turn. Also, practice drafting in turns, you usually have to be to the upper side of them to draft, not just directly behind...ehh, im pretty bad at explaining this. :dsm:

The drafting missions are the easiest things ever. All you do is draft your way up to the second place car, and "trade off" positions till you catch the lead car. What I mean is get some good speed built up in his slipstream, pass him, keep him in your slip, let him do the same(they're dumb and will crash into you, let him pass), and repeat. You should pass the lead car on the last quarter of the last turn in the race.

I cant beat the one with the Toyota 2000gt at New York to save my life.

Thanks guys, i'll try to the switch drafting tonight.
As far as NY, that took me a few tries, but with 3 good laps you should be able to pass him atleast on the straightaway out of the final turn. I passed him before the final turn.
