Today after school I came home and finished up the IB license, and then had a little time left before work so I decided to try IA-15 Nurburgring(sp?) for fun. For those that don't know, it's a full lap on the like 12 mile track in a rwd car w/ no traction control, you can't go off the track or hit any walls, and you have to do it in less than 10 minutes for a bronze. I had heard lots of horror stories about how hard it was, so I wasn't expecting to come close to finishing, but I did. Turns out I ran a 9' 14.055 for a silver medal, even with 3 interruptions for phone calls. This was the first and only time I tried the test, and maybe the 4th time I've driven Nurburgring. There were some close calls though, one was at the turn at the end of the long straight, I almost rammed the pace car like 8 minutes into the race LOL. But anyways, here's the proof:

What'd you guys run? Anyone get gold?

Man it took me like 4 tries, and I finally beat it. I had like 20 secs to spare. I was very pleased with just beating it.

I only tried once and got a silver. It's really easy I think. Just don't push hard. Try your hardest to stay on the track and keep a modest pace. Time isn't an issue.

ya I realized that after running off the road a few times at 7 and 8 minutes. I took it a little slower and still got a silver.

That sad part is you have to do it again in the S license test

I kept a modest pace and ended up going over 10 minutes. I guess you set the pace cars pace, because i was right behind him on the straight.

Eh I almost had it on the first try...I never had a problem with the pace car races so I didn't know that if you went off, that it would fail you. But 6 minutes in I hit a blind turn and went into the dirt. Got it like the 3rd try, the 2nd time I was just frustrated that I had to do it again.

It took me two tries. The first time at the very end I rammed into a wall. I still had enough time to pass too! I honestly leaned back in my recliner & weep. But whatever...second time got a bronze. I never want to race on that stupid track again!

These license tests are killing me. I have A, B, 1A, & 1B. I'm really dreading the S tests. How far could you get in he game without them?

The pace car drives too slow on some turns and I found myself passing it a few times, thus failing.

Out with the pace car and I could shave off at least 5 seconds.

ARRRGH, it took me 10 times to beat the last test for the super license. i finally beat it with a whopping 8 seconds to spare! Now I'm stuck on the same track at the end up the European GT cup with a Griffith 500. That track is intense!

I can honestly say I thought this test was easy as cake. Maybe cause I raced this track sooooo much in PGR2. :thumb:

My first try I ran a 9:05 something. Maybe I'll try again. Test was cake. Here's proof of my time. I've only raced there twice.
Twice I touched the side of the pace car in a turn. I'm sure if I tried again I could get gold.

LOL thats odd that so many people were having a hard time. I loved it. So easy, this one trak with the sl600 kept pissing me off cuz in one part of the track the pace car would go so slow and I hit it twice and went past it three times even on full brake, pissed me off so I went dreadfully slow and finished it.

Yeah I got it on my 3rd try by liek 15 seconds (about 9 min 45 sec) and then I was like I could go faster but screw it, LOL. I honeslty think that the license tests for gt4 are cake compared to those for gt3.

I still haven't felt like trying to do the S license version but I'm going to need to since I'm into the extreme events.
