GT4 Drag Racing Question

Ok so is there really drag racing or is it just like the one from gt3 were it just the test course at 400m. Can you actually race drag race the computer? Are you able to drag race a friend in memory card battle? And can you drag race for money? I really hope you can do all of these things as I spent the most of my time on gt3 building cars just to tune and run at the test course :thumbdown

unless there's something I missed when I was playing it, it's a separate 1/4 mile track that's on the Las Vegas Strip. I believe it's just for testing purposes ..... then again, I could swear I saw pictures before the game came out of 2 cars going at it on the Strip. I'll have to look into that more.

I'm really disappointed in the drag racing. 1. The cars don't leave with a tree, it is just that 3-2-1 go thing. 2. The cars don't leave hard AT ALL. I have a completely built supercharged nitrous 69 SS, fully lightened, super soft tires out back, completely worked suspension, tranny, rear end, EVERYTHING. In real life this car would yank 2 feet of daylight but instead its like it just rolls out of the hole.

found the pics, I don't know, maybe it's something that's in Arcade mode or something like that?

I found more pics than this too, if you want, just go here. If you notice on some of them, it's more than a dragstrip on the Strip cause it starts to curve in some pics. If you go to the link, you'll also see a pic of the finish line with a time of like 25 seconds or something and that damn well isn't any 1/4 mile time.

I had a 71camaro that would hang the wheels in the air about a ft or so. I love my awd drive but nothings compares to pulling a wheelly in a car

So whats up can you actually race other cars ?

If it's like GT3 then you would have to beat all the tracks in Arcade mode to unlock the rest of them, so once that's done then you might be able to go on to the strip and do vs mode.
