I've got a Tial 50mm BOV.
When I bought it it came with the 11psi spring which is good for stock vacuum numbers (18-20in/hg). However since I've got HKS 272 cams, my vacuum is quite a bit lower. Issue is I can't remember what it is and the car isn't running yet so I can't check.
Anyone with HKS 272s in an otherwise internally stock car able to tell me what the vacuum is so I can select a spring?

I've got a feeling I need a black spring (8-10in/hg).

I'm at 13mmHg on Kelford272's. Usually HKS 272's keep pretty strong vacuum, at least more then kelfords.

I have three springs for Tial BOV 50mm.
-9 psi spring (white), -11 psi spring (unpainted) and -12 psi spring (pink)

but I am surprised that unpainted spring is much higher than the other two
Please tell me this is correct or not? Or maybe this spring from something else?

curious. How much boost do you plan to run?

What spring did you wind up going with? I just popped my old 50mm Tial open and sure enough its the unpainted spring. Trying to pick between black and white since my car isnt up and running just like OP's.

I changed my cams from 280BC to 264/272HKS and now have the surge of hell, my vac now is at 10hg. What spring you finally used?

For reference, with my Tial Q, I run the 8psi (white) spring (-12 to -15"). My Kelford 264's give me ~15" at my set idle of 900. As far as driveability goes, this is probably the best BOV I've had as far as part throttle surging goes.
