13g to 16g turbine housing interchangable

I been looking for the answer to this for a while (and I’m pretty sure someone will come in and have a link for me) but would my 13g TD05 turbine housing fit my evoIII? The one I got with my evoIII has a big gash and the waste gate is welded open. Also are the actuators interchangeable?

The 13g has a td04 turbine while the 14b/16g has a td05h turbine. They are not interchangeable.

my 13g says TD05 on it????? I have a 91 automatic DSM with stock motor turbo, I will go look again later but im pretty sure it was a TD05. So any thing TD05h would be interchangable then?

It is obviously not a 13g if the compressor cover says tdo5 on it. It would be a 14b, 16g, 18g or 20g.

A 13G would be a TD04/H/HL, so either you don't have a 13G, or it doesn't say TD05H on the cover.

Regardless, a TD04 turbine housing will not even come close to fitting on a TD05H turbo.

Yes.

You could always just grind the weld off of the flapper arm and see if you can get it free.

sorry I just bought it used and the guy I bought it off of said it was welded open. Im going based off what he told me. Its odd that I have a TD05 then cause I know the former owner the whole time he had the car and he kept it bone stock and never changed everything, So some one must of swapped turbos before he even got it (he owned it 10+ years before me) Ok well thanks for the answers. I saw that 14b could on other thread but couldnt find anything of 13g, well I dont even think thats what I have anymore.

You could just post a photo of the turbo that is on the car and end all confusion.
