Can blown turbo seals cause breaking up?

Whats up guys i was just wondering if any one knew if it was possible for blown turbo seals to cause a breaking up problem (ex. my dsmlink shows crazy air flow at 1500hz), my car will shudder and drop timing real low. NO its no knock ,im getting no counts of knock at all when this is happening. I have replaced the maf 2 times already to make sure that's not the problem. I have no issues cruise but every time i hit the 1500hz mark the car reads crazy amounts of air flow and breaks up . I have no known boost leaks , I've checked numerous times. The only known problem is my 14b is on its way out ( smoke under boost,shaft play etc) im thinking this is the problem . My mod list is up to date . gm 3 inch with maft version 2.?, dsm link v2 fic 1050's 2.4 stroker. I have a brand new mhi big 16g that will be going on eventually until i can afford to go holset but i was just wondering if any one has had a similar problem. Btw new pcv valve too ,no boost leaks from the jpipe to the motor.

I don't need a rebuilt I have a brand new mhi big 16g waiting to go on or I'm going with a holset set up . I haven't really decided yet. I may run the b16g until I get bored or just so straight to an Hx40
