my 73HTA green is here

After an exhausting 3 month wait my new twin scroll FP HTA73 green is here. it will be replacing the 20g in this thread: 1st twin scroll 20g on DSM !!! (EVO 10 turbo)
1. looking into inlet.
2. CNC ported shroud to stock cover
3. custom FP inlet to match ported shroud
4. HTA73, 5 blade EVO 9 FPgreen, 20g, and 16g
5. HTA73 , 6HSL2, 5H
6. top=20g/5H. middle = FPgreen/6SL2. bottom = HTA73
7. HTA73 almost fits in 20g cover.
8. 16g gets lost in 20g cover.

Damn big exducer on the compressor, and the turbine appears to be one of the newer 11-blade TD06H models.

If someone bought one of these turbos and had a TD06H DSM turbine housing and had a machine shop mill a standard 20G compressor cover, you could be the first guy to run one of these on a DSM.

started fitting new turbo today. thought I was going to have to cut the snout off this evo X cover to make it work. but it fits in the car nicely . Just have to finish the custom wastegate mounting. then a new custom intake.

Got the setup finished and back in the engine bay today. very happy with this Holset actuator. it has far more travel (longer can and spring) than dsm and evo 1-10 gates. it therefor allows far more bost control with just a turn of the preload. preload at 3 turns I get about 18psi. preload at 15 turns gives well over 30 psi. no boost controller will be needed. I like

Kudos for experimenting with the Holset actuator! That's how you do it!
