Best place to buy small 16g rebuild kit

There's nothing wrong with the kits on eBay as long as you're buying from a well-known seller. If you view the seller's other items and they have a complete line of well-crafted birdhouses, you shouldn't be buying turbo parts kits from that seller.

Theoretically as long as your turbo is seeing acceptable oil pressure levels the journal bearings will never contact the housing anyway, so really a journal bearing is a journal bearing is a journal bearing....it's when the turbo may suddenly be starved for oil or injest foreign material that you'll want something a little more durable.

G-pop shop. They have excellent service, but the prices are not on par with non-oem kits.

Are these rebuild kits the same for the 3III 16g? And could I do this myself? Ive read that you need to get them rebalanced and stuff. My turbo has a lot of shaft play and the compressor wheel is messed up so Id need one of them too.. Im just curious if i could do this on my own and save some money, rather then spend an ass load of money to have someone else do it.
