Question 1G or Synapse Synchronic BOV

The diaphram on my Greddy RS tore and I am in the market for a new BOV. Since Greddy BOV's have a tendency to break, I am contemplating between the 1G and the Synapse.

This is for my DD boosting 18-20psi, so a lot of partial throttle and throttle changes. I am looking for reliability and quality (no surge or flutter). Mods are in profile. Thanks for your thoughts and opinions.

Edit: forgot to mention, cost is not an issue

Definitely the 1G BOV. They're reliable as hell. You can put the money you save into other mods.

For 18-20psi, I wouldn't do the Dodge Garage Mod, or if you DO the mod, don't crush the valve because it may make it too stuff and cause the valve to flutter when chopping the throttle at low boost.

My buddy's 2G is running a crushed, Dodge Garage-modded 1G BOV and he's running 22-25psi. If he's making low boost in traffic, the valve will flutter.

Here's how you can mod the base of the 1G BOV to fit your Greddy flange:
Punishment 2G IC pipes, no 1G bov love...

Even if the money's not an issue, use the 1G BOV. They're built like tanks. Russian ones.

I'm very happy with my forge bov but I was also pretty happy with the 1g bov until it accidentally got silicone in the inernals.

1g bov all the way. Do not crush it ever. Do the dodge garage mod. It will hold MORE boost than crushed. 30+ psi here. No fluttler, the release is plenty fast. LOUDER (I can hear it even though recirculated), years of service.

The dejon kit is a fancy dodge garage mod. It's nice, but i'd put my money into something else. The DGM is practicall free if you have a 1g bov.

You'd be surprised to know that they're still using the 1g BOV variants on LOTS of cars to this day. Get an upclose pic of the BOV's on the new Skyline GTR. I think you'll be surprised to find out who it's made by and what it resembles 100%
