help me just get this 14b swap for my auto over with...please

Ok I have to know a few little things cause I am ordering the final order for all my gaskets and hardware to complete the swap. I have searched..no definative answers on 1) whether I need a different oil RETURN line....I know I need the bigger banjo bolts for the coolant lines and the oil feed lines . 2) WILL MY O2 HOUSING BOLT TO THE 14B?

This is making me feel like a noob so some experienced help will be appreciated.

o2 housing will fit not sure about the oil return but when I swapped a 14b into my 2g back in the day I needed to use a 1g oil return line, but the 2g one can easily be modded to fit.


edit- realized you have an auto which is a 13b iirc in that case I'm not to sure but I'm assuming the above still applies.

Your o2 housing will absolutely fit, as will the oil drain....but I'm unsure about the coolant line question. I've never actually done the upgrade as no one around me has an auto 1G, but I've heard from some people that one of the lines has a smaller fitting / banjo bolt and other guys have said they're the same. Possibly someone who's done the swap can chime in here.

Have you upgraded to a 2G manifold as well? If not, this would be a great time to do so. The 2G manifold has a 6cm2 collector which will match the 14B, while your stock manifold has an off-centered 5cm2 hole to match the tiny 13G.

yeah i have got a 2g manny with a good no shaft play 14b (including lines and manny for that) I have gotten the banjo bolts and crush washers as well as all the gaskets I will need so all that was left was the questions about the oil drain to the pan line as well as the o2 housing so it sounds like Im just about good to go! Thanks for the replies guys....wish me luck and cross your fingers that all I will need to use is the extracter set!!! not a helicoil
