Well my friend owed me $150 and couldnt pay up yet. He told me about a turbo, fmic, and a greddy type rs bov that he had and said he would give me those instead of paying me back. The turbo he gave me is a T3 (not sure what kind of T3) according to the label on it, but i dont know much about it. Can someone tell me a little more about it? here are some pics

PUll the compressor cover off and measure teh major and minor diameters of the compressor wheel ..the major (wide side on bottom of wheel ) is easy to measure. Since the inducer has 6 blades you can easily measure that by reading the length from the tips of two blades 180* apart from one another. With those measurements i can tell you what it is... You can measure the exhaust side the same way if you want the stats on that as well, just post them up and ill read from my compressor wheel book and see what you have.

It says xs power on the housing. Isn't that an ebay brand.? SSAUTOCHROME maybe????

T3 doesn't say much at all about the size of the turbo. That's like classifying a 16G as a "TD05H'.....well, it could have a 14B, 16G, Big 16G, EvoIII 16G, 18G, or 20G compressor wheel mated to that TD05H turbine- BE MORE SPECIFIC!

I love when the Honda guys say their car's powered by a "T3/T4" turbo. Oooooo wooooww. I'll bet that makes a ton of power mated to their "Stage 59" B16 powerplant.

Bottom line, that turbo looks smaller than a T25. If you're interested in turbocharging your weedeater, you've found the right model.
