Ext. WG on Mani with Recirculated o2 housing..can this hurt?

Hey guys. I tried to search for the answer to my question but I don't think it's been asked before. I currently own a 95 gst with a 14b. I plan to run a 20g setup for external wastegate on the exhaust manifold.

But the thing is that I have already purchased a Hahn Racecraft 3" o2 eliminator downpipe. This consists of a recirculated o2 housing. My concern was where the recirculated part enters the o2 housing, will the hole being there affect exhaust flow? Obviously there won't be any air coming out this hole since the flapper will be welded shut. Anyone have any ideas? I hope I explained it properly, but heres a pic to help understand the hole I'm talking about.

It will affect it the same as it did before (e.g. not much at all).
Same concept as you welding the W/G puck shut. The W/G passage will still be there, but exhaust will not flow that way unless you did not make an airtight seal.

That was the answer I was hoping for. I spoke with a few DSM vendors and they said the same thing. Just wanted to confirm it by a DSM wiseman. thanks for your help.
