After reading the turbosmart install instructions. I have to revise my post.

Is your MBC a ball and spring or a bleeder? If it's the one I saw on Dejon's website it's a bleeder.
The type of MBC changes the routing of the vacuum lines.

That is correct, a ball and spring would be hooked up as the original post. A bleeder type would be hooked up just like an EBC and the adjusting directions on the bleeder MBC would be reversed.

The MBC2 thumb screw is adjusted for stock boost as shipped. To check, depress the white
button on the valve solenoid (black section). At the same time blow air through from the fitting
labeled ‘To BOV’ (spring is lightly pushing the ball inside MBC2 against the inlet seat). A little
air should come through the ‘To Turbo’ fitting. Mount the MBC2 in a convenient spot (such as
on the radiator support on the passenger side) using the bracket supplied. Mount the MBC -
thumb screw up.

heres a pic. so is my setup good or do i need to change it?

A lot of these dual stage MBC's are combination of ball/spring and bleeder type, I'm not 100% sure on these types of MBC's but I think you should be fine with your original setup, experiment yourself and confirm. I can't believe vendors are still instructing users to tap the BOV line.:toobad:

Tapping into the BOV line is not efficient. The way you have it setup is the same way I had the same boost controller from dejon tool setup which is the correct way. Mine broke after a while though. Lets hope yours doesnt.

Thanks for the info. How did yours break and what were the effects?

Sorry

Hiitman, I'm sure this isn't the first time you've been asked, use proper capitalization in tech sections.

Also, should I plug the upper nipple or leave it open?

Well it worked great for a while, but slowly but surely the high boost level that I had it set at crept back down to the low boost setting which as you may know runs off the wastegate spring. After it went back down, I checked the screw and the screw was all rusty on the inside and was very hard to turn. This happend after about 2-3 months of use. The mbc was mounted right on the radiator support just like they suggest on the install instructions and before that it just sat in the box in my bedroom. But before it broke, it was a good mbc, maybe I just got a defective one.
