I will be getting a FP Big T-28, I asked FP what they do with the $95 porting they said only remove the ring / step on the inlet of the turbine housing. To the 7cm opening size, I suppose. They do NOT do any work on the outlets. There is a long wait to port it so I decided to port it myself since I have the tools.

I will be running a professionally done, highly ported evo 3 O2 housing. This thing gives 2.5" tubular housings a run for the money. Gasket will be opened up to match this one.

I read all the threads about porting down the inlet (saw lots of pics for reference)... BUT, not a lot of mention on the outlets. I don't care about boost creep, I am going to leave the flapper area alone.. how about the turbine outlet, I mean, technically it should be ok for a smaller area to flow into a large hole in the O2 housing right?

I don't think I can get the turbine outlets as big as the ported O2 housing. Do I typically do anything with the outlets or not.

I will just remove the lip from the entrance and open it up then.

I will open the stainless steel gasket between turbo and O2 to match the O2 housing, so that the gas isn't hitting the gasket.

Do what he says. Ive seen people port the outlet, just make sure you leave like 1/2" of flatness after the turbine wheel then you can bell it out all you want to match the gasket/enterance to the o2 housing.

My BEP housing for my 16g is belled out all the way to 2.5" but it stays flat at the turbine wheel.

That was the original poster who said that LOL.

haha oups!

YEah man gasket match to the 7cm, match to whatever manifold you are running, then gasket match to the evo3 o2 housing... but dont port too close to the turbine blade!!!!!

again, dont port all the way to the turbine!!! leave at least 1/2" or else you will really mess up your flow and have to start all over with another turbine housing!

Hey guys I looked at the turbo it definitely looks like they already machined whatever needed on the outlet to fit the larger wastegate and turbine wheel!

To remove the turbine housing, I know it's just needed remove the clamp, but there is a key way so it goes back same angle as before?
