Ottawa,
T4 GT3582R .70/.70 V-band discharge, ported S cover
DNP T4 manifold
Tial 44mm wastegate

I'm about to place my order and would like some opinions please.

This will be on a stock 6bolt for now, FP2's and JMFab.

Thanks!

Should be a fun turbo for you:thumb: Is it a divided exh. housing, if so it should spool a little quicker than the t3 .82ar housing.

Just a word of warning, what i found and my ex. boss found was that the limiting factor of the 6bolt was we could run 30psi allllll day without any problems it was just once we got greedy and turned it up a bit more the wrist pins and pistons would separated

The .70 T4 is a divided housing? Where are you getting if from? I'm only seeing T3 GT35R's, or undivided T4's.

Please post up some results though. I'm thinking about making the big leap to that exact turbo on a 2.3 when I start making some money.

This is a misleading post. It certainly isn't going to be at full boost by the rpms you are citing, so you need to be clear what you are talking about.
For a big power set up, the .70 is too restrictive and will make less peak power than an open .82 t3. Since you are on the stock motor its not entirely important though.

Of course it will be at full boost by 500rpm.

he saying it will spool between 300 and 500 rpms faster than a T3 .82 would spool at. Which from reading evo boards seems like a reasonable estimate. Read the post then reply.

whoops :coy:
PLease direct me to a post that states a ton more power, and I promise you will find somehting else at work. The .82 t3 flows simlarly to a .68 t4 (although the .68 suposedly flows better) and the .68 outflows the divided .70 by a good margin. I would certainly be skeptical of anyone who claims :tons of power" from going .82 to divided .70.

So, I'm curious as I bought the old .70 A/R off of Dan on his old 2.4L setup that made 670awhp @ 34-35psi on his t-67. I still have the .68 A/R open t4 I just wanted a true divided setup with my DNP. I See people make 600+ on a T3 .63 A/R 4 bolt housing why can't this be done on a .70 A/R I even ported it more and smoothed it out alot. I thought that the .70 divided flows more than the .63 A/R t3? Am I wrong? Otherwise do you think I should go with the Garrett .85 a/r divided housing as that does flow more than the .68 open t4... I don't want to go that big as this is a street car and Super95awd is obviously doing great on his small housing.. Whats your take on this ?

which housing is super95 running?

Just to add, a divided housing of the same flow and dimensions as a non-divided will only spool quicker IF one uses the housing by running a paired-runner exhaust manifold. . . which he has ;)

Yes i am. It can be special ordered through Garrett, although i think there is a nice waiting period for it right now.

Cool, when did that come out? To be sure what were talking about, a .70 A/R T4 divided turbine housing that fits a GT35r?

I have no idea when it came out. I talked to Extreme PSI and gave them the info. Made sure they knew it was a divided housing for a 35r. They got back to me a few days later and said it would be a week or 2 i think. But, i have heard elsewhere that it will take longer than that.
