Well after all the crap I've gone through with my car It looks like I'm gonna have to get a new and bigger turbo(was on E316G) (blown headgasket prob killed it). I've narrowed it down to two which I Like. The first is the Precision T & E SCM5027E:

or

Bullseye-Power TO4B V Trim:

I am thinking internally gated with possibly having the divider cut if I get the Precision. I am open to other turbos if anyone would like to chime in. My goals are 300whp (please no 16/20g suggestions) and a high 12 second quarter mile. I am front wheel drive and would like to keep this car somewhat street drivable. I also would like to run the turbo on my stock fuel system for a short time until I can get my injectors, fuel pump, and safc in. All suggestions and help are greatly appreciated.

My thoughts on why to get one of these over a 16g are that I got bored of the 16g, dont mind a little lag, love topend power, can save some gas, am front wheel drive, and want room to be faster if I choose too.

sounds like your getting rid of a turbo that was best suited for your needs, but if you say so , i would suggest the scm 5031

http://dsm.dejonpowerhouse.com/

at 799$ the price is just too good to pass (for me).

and if you really wanted room to upgrade you could go with the 6152, which with the s or sp compressor covers is rated for 680 whp, and for the same price its hard to say no, ecspecially if you say you dont mind a little lag, just be open minded about 16g's and ecspecially 20g's high 12's isnt very hard to achieve, i think you should have went with a fuel system and some tires first before jumping the gun and ordering a big turbo.

Well I am planning on upgrading the fuel system very soon. I already have the rewired evo IX fuel pump to put in. I will be ordering 650's very soon after the turbo. I need a turbo just to drive my car. I just keep running into problems so its hard to do everything.

My main reason for not wanting the 16g is It gets boring. Also I'm constantly boosting and this is my daily driver so It costs me in gas.

So no one thinks I should go with the Bullseye? I've heard good things about it especially its housing, which I've heard helps keep down the creep.

Keep the suggestions coming...I'm open to all advice.

Thanks for the replies so far. :thumb:

The 5031E does look very nice. Is boost creep an issue for this turbo or the 3431E? I forgot to mention in my original post that I really dont want to have to deal with boost creep (porting, external, etc).

Right now I am leaning towards the 5031E.

And this is the turbo's fault? LOL. I would go with a ball bearing gt series if I were to upgrade.

i just got a 6031 undivided internal gate. currently 20psi and no creep, i hit full boost at 3800. but you will need more than 650s.

No Its my fault but not hitting the boost as soon will slow down my heavy foot :D
I'm not worried about spool time as long as it isnt too laggy.

SAFC so no can do. 650's or bust.

Basically I've decided I want to get something like the 5031 or the 5031 itself. I'm down to just choosing brand and exact turbo.

One quick thing. That price on dejonpowerhouse doesnt include the WG actuator correct?

I think It might be cheaper or close to the same to get it at extremepsi.com
