Bad to run divided turbo on undivided mani?

Just curious. What ill affects are there and is it feasable to remove the divider at a later time if that was the only option available to me.
 
You wouldn't get even flow into both side's of the turbo for one. You could switch out the exhaust housings if you didn't want to run the divided housing. What are you trying to do? Put a EVO 8 turbo on a 2g?

No, just seems that the nice t3 housings with a usable Vband are divided housings.
