will a 2005 evo turbo work on a dsm if back housing is swap??

hello i have a 2005 evo turbo i was wondering if i took the evo back housing off and install a mitsu exhaust housing (7cm) off a 16g turbo will this work on a dsm? thanks alot

It would not work. The turbine blades would be facing the wrong direction. The newer Evo turbos are reverse direction. Save time and money and just buy a 16g.
