Just wondering what everybody with an upgraded turbo/O2 housing is doing for a lower heat shield?? Are there any aftermarket ones out there? Or do I just have to figure out some way to get my stock one to work...I don't feel like frying my alternator or fan.

The chances of frying your alternator or fan is greater by not using an exhaust manifold heat shield instead of not using a lower heat shield. If you can make your stock one fit, try it. If you can't just leave it open. No one makes upgraded lower turbo/o2 housing heat shields. Making something custom might be the only way if you want a lower heat shield. I personally won't worry about it. Just get a upper (exhaust manifold) heat shield and call it a day.

Not sure what its called, but you can spray this paint like substance on your exhaust manifold and o2 housing. My buddy took them somewhere and had it done. It isn't cheap but after running his car i was able to touch his exhaust manifold and not have my skin burnt off.LOL.
