hi
got my self a bullseye turbine housing for my evo 3 big 16G turbo
does anyone have this same set up?
the reason i ask is because on the evo 3 the turbine housing is atached with a v-band clamp,
but on the bullseye turbinehousing the evo 3 fits into the turbine housing .
the turbinehousing has 3 holes on the turbo side for M6 bolts
do i bolt on the turbo only with these 3 bolts and a washer or do i need something else to secure the turbo

The three bolts and washers will hold it just fine. Let us know how it compares to the stock 7cm.
Make sure you check for exhaust leaks after install, I have seen cases where it leaks where the CHRA and turbine housing meet causing slower spool.

I put that similar housing on my small 16g. I pretty much only bought it for the 38mm internal gate to combat boost creep, and it fixed the creeping problem. HOwever, my housing connected with a clip, not three bolts. A buddy of mine bought the same housing that you have and had some problems with getting it bolted up, but he clocked his 16g so that could be why. All in all, i liked the housing. Spool seemed about the same, top end was good with the porting and the boost control.

We ran a Bullseye housing on a 20g, and it definitely picked up some top end. Be prepared for alot of cursing during install, the coolant and oil lines will have to be modified to fit. I'd be interested to see a before/after dyno to see if there are any useful gains on a 16g.

Hi guys
I am diggin up this tread because i still have a problem with the evo3 connecting to the bullseye turbine housing.
I used 3 m6 bolts and some washers to bolt on the centersection of my turbo to the bullseye turbine housing
At first it looked oke but know i noticed that when the turbo is hot i have some play between the turbo and turbine housing.
Also the centersection is all black from the leaking exhaust gasses
When the engine is cold the turbo sits tight into the turbine housing no play at all
For you guys who have this same set up, do you have this same problem ?
And how did you attached the turbo to the turbine housing?
thanks.

The BEP housing uses three clamps to hold the CHRA to the turbine housing. There should have been some clamps with the housing.

Nope:nono: i got no clamps with the housing
Do you know how these clamps look like (maybe a pic)
I made my self some thicker washers about 5 mm and replace the bolts for stronger 10.9
bolts .
iIused ss steel washers and bolts before, it looks like its holding ok now with the stronger bolts.
Dont know how long they gonna less
But if you could dig up some pics of the clamps i would apreciate it
thanks .
