Many problems

Ok my car has been leaking oil from somewhere under the turbo for the past few days. I haven't had time to check it out recently but I began to look today. It appears that the oil is coming from the bottom of the actual turbo, I am thinking the oil return line but I'm not sure. Also my wastegate actually cracked in half and I can not build any boost any more, when you drive and attempt to build boost it whines like crazy. I was afraid I blew my turbo because of the massive amounts of oil coming out the bottom and the whine but when I checked today there was no shaft play or oil in the intercooler piping. If anyone has any ideas as to whats going on it would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime I will be taking off the entire turbo assembly and trying to figure out if I can just put a new wastegate on and stop the leak. Thank you.

probably seperate problems.

Did your flapper door break in half or is it just the wastegate arm? Either way it will cause the same problem but one might be cheaper than the other.

As for the oil leak I would assume its the return line gasket at the turbo that has failed.

Agreed, I thought they were seperate problems but it had me worried because they both happenend within so little time of each other. Its not the flapper or the arm its the actual part that has the spring and vacuum port on it that split in half on the wastegate. If anyone knows where I could get ahold of one cheap I'd love it. Thanks again.
