I am an nt turboing it up, and the turbo I have is shot. It does not spin at idle, blows oil, smokes a lot, and is just overall crappy. I want to rebuild it, anyone have any guides on it?I will take it apart tommorrow and have some pics up for you guys to get me some feedback on rebuild or buy new. I am tight on money so consider that aswell.

If you got one of those master power turbo's or one of the likes from ssautocrome It will make a nice ashtray in your garage. A lot of people that do their frist NA turbo conversion buy one for it looks like a killer deal. They are just plain junk.

If you happen to have a real garret or Hybrid then it's probably worth rebuilding but you will have to check out the turbine shaft to make sure it isn't scored. If it is then just buy a new turbo. I also wouldn't get anything used as you end up with a hugh chance of getting a lemon unless it's local and you can at least thow it back at the seller if it's blown.
