Does it matter where I hook up the ground and power wire? Because I have the ground and power wires hooked up at the same place as my boost gauge, and the ebc isnt working. My brother told me it's because I have them hooked to the same places. To me, I dont think it matters. Help guys. Thanks.

Ground is ground whether or not it is shared with something else. Make sure your ground is making good contact and make sure your 12V source is hot with the key on.

Cool. I think my unit is messed up then. Because the unit only lights up when the lights are turned on. :( And even then, it doesnt control boost.

"The unit lights up when the LIGHTS are ON"? Well, you have connected in the wrong place. Why is it only 'turning on' when YOU turn on the car lights? I have mine hooked up to the radio, b/c its 'hot' once I have atleast reached the ACC.

I have mine hooked to the same place as my boost gauge; cigarette lighter. The boost gauge works fine . I'll try hooking it up to the head unit/radio. Thanks.

The boost gauge doesn't need power to work, only to light up and it only lights up when your lights are on correct?

Therefore the Profec is only getting power when your lights are on...
