Anyone running a 20g, green, red in a bullseye housing? Any good threads on this? My only experience with this housing was a 57trim/stage3 and it worked very well. Tryed the same turbo with PTE housing and I feel the bullseye worked better. Definately spooled faster.

I am interested in TDO6H turbine wheel results in this housing.

We're running one on a 20g. It's probably overkill, but I can see it having benefits on a Red or older Frank with a 6h wheel. The 20g spools as well with the 6h wheel and Bullseye housing as it used to on a 5H wheel and 7cm. The car definitely picked up some top end, but it's hard to say whether the wheel or housing is responsible since we changed both at once. It's a royal pain to install on a Mitsu. cartridge, you have to modify the oil return and coolant lines, and getting the cartridge into the housing all the way is tricky. We were considering throwing a 7cm on it for comparison after we get some numbers out of it.

See you have one of the snap ring turbine housings. Bullseye did change them so that it clamps down now. You may not have to hack the oil and coolant lines as much

Had to hack the oil and coolant lines because of the position of the cartridge as compared to stock. The turbo sits like 1/2" lower, making the oil return line too long and the front coolant line that loops underneath not reach the waterpipe. Getting the banjo bolts in and getting a wrench on them was also a pain because of the reduced space from the snap-ring setup. I wasn't aware that they changed it, good to know. :thumb:

Good ole 20g. 2900lbs going 127mph is 464whp. I believe this 20g is highly underated. Here is a map of the critter showing max flow at 685cfm (47.4lbs/min)

Are you sure the 6h/bullseye combo is spooling as fast as 5h? Was your 5h clipped? Did your 1/8th mph improve also? It looks from the times (5h 11.05 @ 123 vs. 6h 11.0 @ 127) that shift recovery is hurting e.t?

The 11.02 @ 127 was still on the 05H wheel (clipped ALOT) :D . The 123mph run was on a 1.5x 60', and the 127 pass was only a 1.6x, spins more with the extra power. The gains came from switching from 264/272s to FP2s and the water/air IC. The car still hasn't made a clean pass since the 6H swap, the track opens March 3rd though.

I think that intercooler setup is awesome, how much does something like that run moneywise? , I mean shit, noone would expect this thing, car has no fmic, you wouldnt knwo it was such a beast unless you popped the hood. SHit, you could ###### go for the buschur dsa class (dsm stock appearance) on the buschur shootout.

The core/tanks, 5 gal. water tank, and pump were $700 used. The heat exchanger is a Honda Goldwing radiator from Ebay for $30. Then there's like $200 in piping, water hose, and fittings. It's an awesome setup, I'm currently doing a smaller water/air in the stock location on my car, hoping to see some serious top end gains over the heat soaking SMIC that's on there now :thumb:
