FP3052+tubular manifold+Tial 44mm WG will they bolt up?

Ok after searching on here, and on FP's website I see that the FP 3052 uses a Tial 44 mm external WG. I am ordering my turbo-back exhaust next week , and at the same time might purchase an exhaust manifold. I choose to get the DNP's SS tubular exhaust manifold. I was just curious will the WG off the FP 3052 clear the tubular manifold? I shouldn't encounter any problems with the WG coming in contacting with the tubular manifold right?

Its the last one the one with the title 90- 99 4G63 Eclipse/Talon/Gallant/Evolution exhaust manifold upgrade

Personally, if you're getting the 44mm tial already, get the vband version that clamps to the fp housing. I don't really see any reason to hang the WG off the manifold when you have that option.

If you really *need* a new manifold, i'd just get an Evo3 and get it ported to hell.

All 44m come with Vband.

My friend have one (fp3052/tial 44) and he clear your manifold with no problem.

The manifold he is getting doesn't have a wastegate flange.

Looking at the pics and based on the fact that I have both the FP 3052 and the 44mm wastegate you should be alright.

I run this exact setup and everything fits without a problem. Absolutely no clearance issues.

thanks what spring pressure did you order the tial WG? i was thinking of ordering it with the pressure at 1.4 bar(20.30 psi) then just increasing it using my boost controller.

smack me sideways, i guess i should read things more closely. I didn't scroll all the way down on those manifolds.

Should work great. Here's a picture of a friends car (NDgsx)... He's running a 40mm (non-vband), that same DNP, and i think a 3052 in this picture. He's now running a 3575.

Just keep in mind, you can never run lower than the rating of the spring. I'm sure you know that already, and I'm sure you wouldn't be buying a 3052 and run less than 20 psi anyway, but I just thought I'd point that out.


This set-up that you have picked out is the exact same set-up I'm switching to this winter. fp3052, 44mm Tial, DNP...... I just have to wait until my 6-bolt is built and in the car first.

I went with the 1 bar spring. I figured 14.7 psi would be a good place to get a base tune without blowing anything up. Also, I drive a 30 mile mountain pass/canyon daily, so it is nice to be able to have a 17 psi program to commute on. That is just me though. As long as you can get good gas, you should be fine with a 1.4 bar spring.
