My turbo is huge but is slow?????

Ok its a 98 gsx with a 6 bolt swap and i have a t3/t4 sc61 trim ported , and its slow as ass to spool up, i get in my 91 laser stock 14b and its a rocket ship right from th get go and off it only has 3" exhaust that it my 98 has full 3" exhaust kn filter 4" intake and it feels so slow to spool up what would be the best turbo for me like lots of power and like it quick??

Most people are going to say either an EvoIII 16g or maybe a 50 Trim.

Um, If you're profile is up to date.. Then thats' one reason your car is slow, Untuned + no fuel pump + no injectors + Nothing to tune with...

And a downpipe will decrease spool up. Get the supporting mods and tune first.

Ok i bought the car from a member on here he had theis turbo on it. I have a 3" d/p and for mods all i have is greddy ebc, pyrometer, boost guage,a,f guage turbo xs rfl bov, and bigger intercooler piping, i have a 255 pump 880cc injectors and afc on there way! Also a datalogger that should have been here like a month ago! So we will see what happenes, it feels like my o2 isnt working on the front as well and i wont know untill the datalogger gets here! SO u guys think if it was tuned better that it would spool up alot quicker?

yeah it will help, at what rpm do you see how many psi?

you may also find out you need an fpr once you get that pump in.
your injectors are well beyond the limit of the safc, not sure what youre thinking there.
make some money by selling your a/f gauge, they're absolutely worthless.
have you checked for any boost leaks?

Dude ... I have that same turbo and the fact is bigger turbos take longer to spool. There will be no comparison between a 14b and an sc61. I see 22 psi by 4500 or so. This is called lag and this is why turbo cars suck.
