I have been looking into mbc and read that the Joe P. is the best deal. Or should I even go with a Joe P. I would like opinions on which one is better, the Joe P. xz or the xz-s. Is there a big difference? Just looking for your opinions.

If you haven't already done so, use the search feature. There are tons of posts exactly like this one. I've had my Joe P. boost controller for well over a year and its been reliable and very consistent. A manual boost controller is fairly simple, get whichever is cheaper or on sale. -Matt :dsm:

as far as I know, there isn't much difference between the joe p and the xz. I have the xz, works fine, no problems. A friend has the joe P regular and it works fine with no problems.

I have the Joe-P. Works great and holds boost fine. I had a old Hallman mbc. It wouldn't hold any boost at all. Would spike to about 20-24lbs sometimes. But that is my personal exsperience.

Any of the new Joe-P and Hallman are great choices.
