so i have a big 16g, FMIC, fuel upgrades and shit...

when i boost hard it smokes like a bi***, the rear of my b umper turns black from all the smoke settling on it and stuff. And when i let off the throttle from going WOT, i get an even thicker cloud of smoke. There is a little ammount of shaft play in the turbine wheel. I can boost to liek 13 psi but thats it, i tried turning up the boost but it doesnt work, idk if its my MBC or my turbo. ANy advice or tips would be great.

I also just rebuilt my 6 bolt block somewhat too. new bearings, new piston rings, ARP head studs, and cometic head gasket. i dont seem to have any major leaks, but i havent done a compression test yet though.

Im pissed b/c my car is running super slow, and super smokey for all the mods i have. It is pulling like a mid 14's s 1/4 mile car when i should be able to break into the 12's. I am tuning with DSMlink too. THanks.

well if the smoke is white then its fuel prob but if smoke is black its oil and since u got new motor im thinkin turbo is shot but i would do compression test frist to make sure.i got same prob but its fuel.

You're a little off on your info :)
Black smoke is fuel, bluish smoke is oil and white smoke is water(coolant).

If the seal in the turbo is bad, it will only smoke under boost and burn oil. My old laser would burn at least 2 quarts a week if I drove under boost often.
