I still have the stock t25 on my GS-T, when I first start up and drive it after it has set for at least an hour or two the turbo makes a weird sound when it starts to boost. It almost sounds like a squeaking sound like it is dry on oil. I usually shift quick out of first then when I get into second I'll let it boost up and by the time it reaches full boost the sound goes away. Maybe the oil lines are getting clogged? or maybe the turbo is going out? I don't know what it is, does anybody have any ideas? Oh yeah, I don't know about the previous owner, but for the last 5k miles I have owned it, and it has been turbo timed at shut off.

The turbo probably is bad which is a good thing cause now you can out on a decent turbo instead of that cheap POS Mitsu put on thier.

Pull the intake and check the feel of the shaft.

Only if you're Johnny Dragracer. For most of the time on the street, in street RPM ranges, you can't do a lot better than the T-25.
