I just recieved the used EVO III turbo I bought. It supposedly only has 1k miles on it. Both the compressor and turbine wheels look to be in very good shape. There is some shaft play, I thought it was alot until doing some searching and hearing about 1/2" of play. I've probably got between a 1/16" and 1/8" inch. Is this excessive?

Also there is a little bit of oil between the center housing and the turbine heat shield. Not alot, just a few dropplets. There is no evidence of burning oil in the turbine housing, but there is some evidence of coolant. Do you guys think I'm ok or does it sound like this needs to be rebuilt?

The attacted picture is not the actual turbo, just being used for visual of where the oil is.
