As you guys who saw my previous thread know, 3 of my turbo bolts now look like this:

I can only imagine how bad the threads on my turbo housing look.

My question is whether it would be worth an extra $150 on this turbo to go with a Bullseye housing or a 7cm housing. The turbine housing I have now was ported by SBR, and the inlet is port matched to a 7cm gasket. It will cost me $50 to helicoil the housing, and probably close to $200-250 shipped for a different turbine housing.

Now, my turbo is also CLIPPED 10*. What ill effects will running a larger turbine housing have on the turbo's spool time and/or top end, being clipped?

a bigger turbine housing will create moree lag but also more topend ..i'd personally heli coil the turbine housing you have now..
