I am a real newbie , both here , and to turbocharging altogether. I`m starting from scratch. Would there be someone here willing to be a mentor , or direct me to turbocharging 101?

I am building a project from scratch , with low boost requirements , and a low tech/no tech necessity. This will be simple compared to what I have seen on here , but I have to get up to speed somehow.

I am starting with just an exhaust system , engine , and a td05 14b turbo.

I need ( mechanical ) wastegate/bov info. as well as oiling system info.

schematics or exploded views , or the like.

I did not want to bother anybody , but I am in a crunch here.

Any info or direction will be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Jaspur

hey i understand where your at first if you want to get help what are you building ie. car engine block what are you looking for? for example i have a 95 eclipse with a 420a engine. so what do you have i checked your profile and nothing so help us and we ll try to help you :thumb:

Like the others have said, just give us info about your car, and what your goals are and what it is you want to do and I know I would be more than happy to help. When I first got my DSM I didn't know a damn thing and now 3 years later I have a ton of knowledge and have gone through a lot of trial and error. Reading these forums and all the other info out there is the most valuable thing you can do. It will teach you whats good and bad and also in no time you will learn to do everything on your car instead of paying someone to do it and feel a great sense of accomplishment when your finished. Good Luck!
